Cool Crocs visit Tredegar library

The Cool Crocodiles strolled their way down to Tredegar library this morning to hear a fascinating talk by Peter Morgan Jones of Tredegar. Peter lived in Sirhowy during World War 2 and his family took in an evacuee. Peter kindly gave his time up to talk to the children this morning about his experiences and the experiences of the evacuee, whom Peter now refers to as his 'brother.'
Following the talk, the children had time to explore the WW2 artifacts in the museum and spent time learning about the organisation of the library.
A fantastic morning had by all.

"I've learnt so much today." Dylan

"I'm going to go back to the library after school." Harry

"Miss, can we go back to the library soon?" Aaron
